Day 1: Be where they are.
Last month, our friend David Griner did a 30 Day Social Media Makeover on The Social Path. We loved it, and thought it was a great idea.
Since the core of what we do at Doe-Anderson is building relationships between consumers and brands, we thought it would be cool to do something similar. So in honor of Valentine’s Day, all this month we’ll be sharing 28 Days to Make People Fall in Love with Your Brand. We hope you enjoy it.
DAY 1: Be Where They Are
They say “familiarity breeds contempt” and “absence makes the heart grow fonder.”
Rubbish.
Ask anyone who is in a relationship. They’ll tell you half of making it work is managing to get sufficient face time with the one you love.
And you love your customers and prospects, right? Of course you do. So why wouldn’t you want to be where they are?
Are the people you want to reach on Facebook? Twitter? Forums?
Are you?
If not—fix that.
